2021 Book: To be announced

Each year the American Library Association and Consumer Financial Protection Bureau team-up to select an outstanding money-themed children’s book. This book becomes the Money Smart Week Kids Read book of the year and is supplied by thousands to participating libraries and elementary schools. These locations host group read events paired with a money smart lesson plan.

Through the generous support of partner organizations, each child in attendance receives a free book and reading guide allowing for further study and conversation at home.

The Berenstain Bears' Trouble With Money By Stan & Jan Berenstain

This classic book belongs in the large Berenstain Bears franchise, the best-selling children’s book franchise ever. More than 370 Berenstain Bears books have been published, and more than 300 million copies have been sold.

Trouble with Money is part of the Money as You Grow Book Club, a research-based program designed to help parents, caregivers, and others teach children ages 4 - 10 money skills through reading, activities, & play.
